Ten acres, decades of inventory, and a counter where a person picks up the phone. Here's what's behind the parts you see on this site.

The lot

We sit on ten acres along Highway 51 in Amite. Vehicles come in from wrecks, insurance sales, and folks who call us to haul something off. They get inventoried, drained, and set out by section so our pullers can find them fast.

The Part ID

A part is catalogued before it ever comes off the car. Our inventory crew works the vehicle over, and every usable part on it gets a Part ID, a price, and a location — the yard section that car is parked in. That Part ID is what ties everything together: it's on this website, on your invoice, and in our system. Give us one on the phone and we know exactly which vehicle to walk to. (The part also carries its donor car's vehicle stock number, which every part off that same car shares — useful for matching a set, but not for identifying one part.)

Most parts stay on the vehicle until somebody buys them. That is deliberate: a part is better protected on the car than in a pile, and we would rather pull it fresh than have it sit on a shelf for two years. When your order comes in we pull it, inspect it, clean it up and pack it — within 1–2 business days, usually the next one. A smaller number of parts — glass, driveshafts, and the fast movers — are pulled ahead of time and live in bins and on racks in the shop.

The camera

Every photograph on this site was taken here, in our own yard or in our own shop. That's why the pictures look like a salvage yard instead of a catalog: because they are. No stock images, ever.

Two kinds of photograph appear on our listings, and each listing tells you which one you are looking at. Most show the donor vehicle the part is on — we photograph the car when it is inventoried, so those listings say so plainly above the gallery and on the card before you click. The listings for parts we have already pulled show the part itself, and there the photo is of the exact part that ships to you. If you want a picture of the exact part before you buy one that is still on the car, call 985-748-7195 and we'll walk out and take one.

The counter

We're open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central, at 59174 Hwy 51, Amite, Louisiana 70422. Walk-ins are welcome. If you call ahead with a stock number, we'll have your part pulled and waiting.

If you're local, we'll deliver it to your shop or your house for free — including body panels and glass, which we don't ship anywhere. Most parts ship UPS Ground at a flat rate shown on the listing, within 1–2 business days of your order and usually the next one. Engines, transmissions, axles, K-frames, transfer cases, and differential carriers go by LTL freight instead, and a few other oversized or restricted parts are pickup or local-delivery only — the shipping page has the specifics.
